Browne Family Named a 2025 Impact Hot Prospects Award Winner

SEATTLE, Wash. September 10, 2026 – Browne Family Vineyards, Washington state’s leading premium wine producer over $16, today announced it has been named a 2025 Impact Hot Prospects Award. Awarded by M. Shanken Communications, publisher of Wine Spectator, Market Watch, Impact, and Shanken News Daily, this honor marks the sixth time Browne Family Vineyards has received the honor.

Impact Hot Prospects Awards spotlight brands on a strong upward trajectory that are winning share in the U.S. wine landscape. To qualify, brands must have reached depletions of at least 50,000 cases in 2025, with at least 15% depletion growth that year, following consistent growth in both 2023 and 2024.

Two of the brand's standout collections — Gigi's Garden and Do Epic Sh*t — have carved out distinct, fast-growing lanes for the brand. Built around light, bright wines packaged in one-liter bottles with less than 1 gram of sugar and under 100 calories, Gigi's Garden made an immediate impact on Browne Family. The 2024 vintage of the Sauvignon Blanc Pinot Gris sold out in just 60 days — the brand's most successful product launch ever. Demand has been strong enough to add a Red Blend and a Rosé to the lineup, and dollar sales per volume are now up +1,334% in the northwest. A Pinot Noir will join the portfolio later this year.

Do Epic Sh*t, an unapologetically playful lineup of wines and spirits, has carved out a bold, culturally fluent lane rarely occupied by traditional wine brands, helping Browne Family Vineyards reach consumers who might otherwise overlook the category entirely. Led by the sparkling Brut, the collection is growing +109% $/vol nationally, reflecting its expanding footprint well beyond its original niche.

Both collections, in addition to the tried-and-true offerings including the Bitner Estate Grenache Rose and Tribute Red Blend, have given Browne Family Vineyards a sharper, more distinctive identity at retail and on premise, helping the brand outpace the broader U.S. wine category.

"Being recognized as a Hot Prospects Award winner for the second time tells us we're doing something right," said Andrew Browne, Browne Family proprietor. "Our team has stayed true to the quality and craftsmanship that built this brand while having the courage to stand out. Seeing our efforts translate into this kind of growth, and now into national recognition, is incredibly validating. It's a tribute to my family – everything we do has to meet the standards set by the greatest generation."

“This recognition proves that you don't have to choose between bold and credible,” said Alex Evans, Chief Marketing Officer. “We’re not only making wine people enjoy but are making wine people notice. Gigi’s Garden and Do Epic Sh*t prove that a strong point of view, backed by quality in the bottle, can move the needle."
