Del Vento Pinot Grigio

With Del Vento, Italian for “of the wind,” we’ve taken a new direction with Pinot Grigio. The iconic rooster on the label, which is a symbol of luck in Italy, sits atop a weathervane. This image was inspired by the winds that sweep through the vineyards of the Italian countryside.

Region

Delle Venezie

(pronounced DEH-leh veh-NETZ-yeh)

The Delle Venezie region of Italy is situated in northeastern Italy, where winds sweep through the vineyards of the Italian countryside. Nearly 70% of all grapes grown in Delle Venezie are Pinot Grigio, which has helped this region achieve world-wide recognition for the production of crisp and elegant white wines. Additionally our Pinot Grigio boasts the DOC designation, which stands for Denominazione di Origine Controllata and indicates the grapes come from a designated region and the wine was produced following strict regulations. It is the second highest quality designation in Italy after DOCG.

Tasting note

Del Vento is a classic expression of Italian Pinot Grigio with its refreshing, bright, and crisp flavor profile. Opening with aromas of tropical fruit and leading to a palate of citrus and minerality, this wine finishes with delightful, mouthwatering acidity.
