Waterbrook Winery is taking its winemaker John Freeman and its latest releases to the festivities of the Portland Jazz Festival Feb. 21-22.
As a proud sponsor of the 10-day-long, city-wide celebration with music, cultural and educational events, Waterbrook will take part in a special For Portland Only panel discussion on Feb. 22 at 4:30 p.m. at Art Bar and Bistro. The topic, a comparison of Old and New World Wines, will feature local celebrated oenophiles Toshiko Akiyoshi, Lew Tabackin, and Waterbrook’s Freeman. The talk is hosted by Doug Ramsey of ArtsJournal.
Building on the excitement of the festival on Friday, Feb. 21, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., Freeman hosts the Portland Waterbrook Wine Club Pick-Up Party at Nel Centro, 1408 SW 6th Ave., Portland, OR (RSVP Only, 509-522-1262).
