Waterbrook 2012 Malbec – Seattle Times’ Top 50 Regional Wines

Each year the Seattle Times publishes its cherished roster of what its tasting panel merits the best wines in the Northwest. Price aside, all wines vie for a coveted spot on the Top 50 list. This year, 2014, Waterbrook 2012 Malbec, found nationwide for $14 or less, made #16 on the list. Critic Andy Perdue writes:

“Waterbrook Winery 2012 malbec, Columbia Valley:  Few Washington malbecs can compete with Argentina on both price and quality, but this offering from a longtime Walla Walla winery certainly does.”

Congratulations to winemaker John Freeman, who’s had a banner 2014 of 90+ scores and best buys in the wine press here in the Northwest and beyond!  See the full top 50 list here
