Precept Wine Welcomes New Sales and Marketing Talent

Alicia Gelles, Brand Manager, and Aimee Boger, Sales Analyst, both join the company
following respective posts at Coca-Cola Refreshments

 Precept Wine announced today the appointment of Alicia Gelles, Brand Manager and Aimee Boger, Sales Analyst, to the team. Both will be based at the company’s Eastlake headquarters in Seattle.

“We’re delighted to have these two professionals join the team at a time of significant growth for our company,” said Chief Marketing Officer Alexandra Evans. “Both of these talented individuals will allow us to take our sales and marketing to the next level: Alicia leading brand strategy for our Washington wineries, and Aimee solely dedicated to charting growth and identifying opportunities across our entire portfolio.”

Gelles worked for Coca-Cola Refreshments since 2005, most recently as its Food Service and On-Premise Initiatives Manager in Bellevue, where she tailored national marketing plans for regional implementation and grew volumes. Prior to Coca-Cola, Gelles served as a sales representative for Gallo in Salinas and Monterey, Calif. At Precept Wine, Gelles will lead brand strategy for its entire Washington portfolio including such wineries as Waterbrook, Canoe Ridge Vineyard, Apex Cellars, and Willow Crest. She grew up in the wine industry as part of the family-owned Klipsun Vineyards in Washington State.

Boger was most recently in sales administration for Coca-Cola Refreshments. She has served in administrative roles since 2001 for such companies as Sierra Marketing, Inc. and Angiotech Pharmaceuticals. Reporting directly to Precept Wine Chief Sales Officer Kirk Brewer, Aimee will create new reporting systems that give highly detailed performance outlooks by brand, by distributor, by internal sales teams and chain networks. She will also analyze data to identify opportunities and trends that maximize sales efforts.
