PRECEPT WINE APPOINTS DAN EWER AS CHIEF SALES OFFICER

Respected longtime Northwest wine executive to lead company’s next growth chapter

April 18, 2018–SEATTLE– Precept Wine Founder and Chief Executive Office Andrew Browne announced the appointment of Dan Ewer as the company’s Chief Sales Officer.

Dan spent nearly 17 years with Young’s Market Company, starting as the Executive Vice President in Oregon.  In Washington State, he then served as its President of the Northwest and most recently, as Senior Vice President of Business Development across 10 Western states.  Ewer started in the wine business following a successful career with Johnson & Johnson, where, over the course of 13 years, he held a multitude of positions across its consumer products companies until 2001. Dan earned his BA in Communications from the University of Washington.

Ewer will be based out of Precept’s Seattle headquarters.  His direct reports include Taylor Hardman, Senior Vice President of Sales West; six regional leaders in Precept Wine’s Eastern sales division; and Austin Gangel,  Senior Vice President of Strategic Accounts. Ewer will work closely with Kirk Brewer, Senior Vice President of Sales and Logistics. Chief Marketing Officer Alex Evans, who previously shared CSO duties, will continue to focus on national account and key wholesale business development along with marketing and direct-to-consumer sales.
