Alder Ridge Estate Winery opens its first retail space in Western Washington
WOODINVILLE, WA, February 9, 2010-Horse Heaven Hills has come to Western Washington as Alder Ridge Estate Winery opens its first retail space in Woodinville. Located in the popular wine area of Woodinville, the new tasting room opened its doors last week and will hold a grand opening celebration April 17 and 18.
Designed by LeeAnn Baker of LeeAnn Baker Interiors, the tasting room is meant to reflect the Alder Ridge Estate Winery located in Eastern Washington. The interior d©cor includes glass-topped barrels, soft seating, cork covered pillars and a dark wood tasting bar located at the center of the room.
“We wanted the tasting room to represent the quality of our wine and bring a taste of our vineyards to our visitors,” said Brooke Williams, Director of Retail Operations at Precept Wine Brands and Alder Ridge Estate Winery, who will be overseeing the tasting room. “The tasting room provides the perfect backdrop to experience the premium wines from our estate vineyards.”
Visitors will be treated to a taste of Horse Heaven Hills with a wide selection of highly-acclaimed Alder Ridge and Zefina wines, produced by winemaker Rob Chowanietz. All of the wine poured at the tasting room is 100% estate grown from the Alder Ridge Estate Vineyard. Tasting fees vary from complementary to $10 for a Reserve tasting.

Alder Ridge Winery’s 5,200 sq. ft. tasting room also includes a board room and a second, smaller tasting room for corporate or private event rental. The new tasting room is located at 14450 Woodinville-Redmond Road, right in the heart of Woodinville Wine country. The tasting room will be open to the public Thursday through Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (no appointment needed) with extended hours coming in May.
