Culinary event of 2016 underscores Santa Fe’s burgeoning food scene
Heritage Productions, LLC is pleased to announce Gruet Winery as the exclusive wine partner for its highly-anticipated 7 Deadly Sins dinner to be held January 15, 2016.
The kickoff of the inaugural Santa Fe Foodie Classic, the decadent dinner will be a feast for all the senses with dramatic design and stimulating music and dance by the National Institute of Flamenco. Hosted at the historic Eldorado Hotel & Spa, guests will be treated to seven gourmet courses by Executive Chef Tony Smith with seven complementary wine pairings selected by Gruet’s renowned winemaker, Laurent Gruet.
“This event is more than a dinner,” says Heritage Productions President Micaela Brown. “This is a celebration of the passionate culture of New Mexico. I couldn’t think of any partner more appropriate than Gruet for this event. The family’s history in our community, and the worldwide recognition of Gruet’s acclaimed wines are the perfect pairing for this spectacular evening.”
Gruet Winery underscores an incredible French family winemaking legacy, expanded to Ameri-ca by two of visionary Gilbert Gruet’s grown children, who settled in New Mexico based on affordable land and wine grape-growing conditions that resembled their native Champagne. Winemaker Laurent Gruet and his sister, Nathalie Gruet, started with their first plantings in 1984 and first vintage release in 1989. The winery has realized incredible success through its rigorous methode champenoise winemaking and competitive pricing.
The National Institute of Flamenco is known throughout the world for the excellence of their pro-gram. The institute is committed to preserve and promote flamenco’s artistry, history, and culture by presenting the finest flamenco in the world, and by educating the American family in the art form while emphasizing the positive influence of art on family and community.
