Great Northwest Wine reviews Apex Cellars 2012 Chardonnay this week and here’s what it had to say:
“This Prosser, Wash., winery is well into its third decade, and Ron Bunnell continues its tradition with balanced, fruit-forward Chardonnay. The nose features pineapple, pear and melon with notes of lemon zest and coriander. And yet, the 100% barrel fermentation allows for round flavors of pineapple and pear amid a feel of butter and toast.”
