Smooth and velvety with ripe plum and blackberry fruit; spicy and dense with good structure and a long, balanced finish.
This is a full-bodied and heavy-tannin wine with aromas of cigar box and black cherry. Flavors of licorice, blueberry and a hint of olive, the wine has a bright acid that balances with the tannins. There is a lingering finish of cedar, bitter chocolate and dried cranberry.
