    JOB TITLE: STRATEGIC ACCOUNTS & ORDER PROCESSING 

    Currently we are looking for the best and brightest to fill an immediate opening for Strategic Accounts & Order Processing. This position will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Sales Operations and will support the strategic accounts and order processing team.

    JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN (SEATTLE, WA)

    Precept Wine is seeking a qualified Director of Supply Chain to oversee day the day purchasing of packaging materials and supplies for its bottling operations. This position will be based out of Precept’s headquarters in Seattle, WA.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Manage the organizations purchasing decisions: this will include vendor negotiation/contracts.
    • Manage the day to day submission of PO’s for package materials.
    • Plan and maintain a rolling twelve month bottling schedule for our multiple wineries/bottling locations in the Northwest.
    • Work with our third party production partners in the NW and CA on planning, establishing a bottling schedule, incoming materials, etc.
    • Assure supply chain sources are capable of meeting purchasing guidelines and exceeding quality expectations, insuring adequate capacity, on-time delivery, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
    • Work with the appropriate Precept employees to ensure all production orders for bottlings are accurately input and closed in Vintegrate, our accounting system.
    • Work closely with the marketing and winemaking teams in the development of new and existing products.
    • Meets with production / winemaking staff to ensure operational supply needs are met.
    • Manages supplier quality audits.
    • Will assist office manager and cost accountant with reconciling package goods inventory.
    • Works with the appropriate personnel at our bottling locations to ensure materials are delivered and staged for production team.
    • Ability to leverage product knowledge into a training format for the appropriate departments for ongoing product education training. 
    • Ability to travel based on the needs of the company.

    Candidate Skills and Requirements:

    • Must Have Bachelor’s Degree. CPM/APICS certifications a plus.
    • 3 or more years of experience in purchasing or supply chain or combination of relevant education and experience. Wine industry experience preferred.
    • Experience with a complex global supply chain.
    • Expertise in identifying key suppliers to develop cost savings and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Microsoft Dynamics experience preferred.
    • Must have strong Purchasing related negotiation skills and knowledge of negotiation strategies.
    • Ability to read prints to include a basic understanding of dimensions, tolerances, finishes, materials, etc.

    JOB TITLE: TASTING ROOM MANAGER, ASSOCIATED VINTNERS (SEATTLE, WA)

    Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the SVP of Retail Operations and DTC Sales.

    Requirements: Lead with integrity, honesty, and experience while promoting an environment focused on excellent customer service, hospitality, and sales. Ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently by all employees and always represent Precept Wine in a positive, professional manner.

    Specifics:

    • Responsible for achieving monthly and annual tasting room sales and revenue goals.
    • Provide leadership, direction and motivation to staff to foster a productive, efficient and positive work environment. Consistently model the behavior that is expected from tasting room staff.
    • Managing tasting room staff. Responsibilities include training employees, employee scheduling, assigning/directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving conflicts.
    • Maintain standard operational excellence for tasting room: ensure customer service standards and service recovery, opening and closing procedures, point of sales system maintenance, and housekeeping.
    • Supervise and work in conjunction with the wine club manager to maximize and grow the wine club and other direct to consumer sales channels.
    • Ensure staff is trained on wine, history of winery and brand as well as appropriate sales techniques, promotions, and incentives.

    • Manage all hospitality experiences at tasting room – hosting consumers & members of the trade to ensure an optimal experience.
    • Work with the catering managers and food establishments to plan the sales and execution private functions including catering and private events to meet or exceed the budgeted revenue for events category.
    • Work closely with the tasting room events & merchandising manager to ensure strong retail merchandise displays which are fully stocked and promote the facility, increase revenue and enhance the overall consumer experience.

    JOB TITLE: WATERBROOK WINERY TASTING ROOM ASSOCIATE (WALLA WALLA, WA)

    The Tasting Room Associate will consistently provide above-and-beyond customer service while employing effective selling techniques in a team environment.  Meet or exceed operational standards and strengthen daily operations by working cooperatively with the Tasting Room Manager and Tasting Room Assistant Manager.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

    POSITION OVERVIEW

    Reporting directly to the Tasting Room Manager, the Tasting Room Associate ensures quality experiences for guests while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude. Associate is in contact with the public on a daily basis promoting and selling our products via wine tasting and winery knowledge. Associate may be asked to work wine events after normal business hours on-and-off-site. We are looking for part-time and seasonal availability and flexibility to also work weekends and holidays.

    JOB TITLE: QUALITY CONTROL TECH, WALLA WALLA, WA 

    We are looking for the best and brightest to fill an immediate opening for the Quality Control Tech at our Waterbrook Winery in Walla Walla, WA.

    Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

    • Perform specific duties and responsibilities based on standard operating procedures, good laboratory practices, good manufacturing practices to ensure the consistency and quality of our products
    • Perform quality control analysis of finished goods, and other materials as required
    • Is knowledgeable of particular scientific instrumentation techniques
    • Follow laboratory standard operating procedures; attention to detail is essential
    • Complete and maintain all required documentation for procedures, recording work and results.
    • Monitor and insures compliance with all applicable company policies and procedures
    • Perform basic and routine analytical on tank samples, finished goods to verify accurate results and consistencies
    • Procure all supplies needed to perform required duties and notify lead/supervisor of any issues or needs
